Some of this information may be personal, sensitive, or health-adjacent. Claire is not a medical provider, but we treat skin-related information carefully.

We may use your information to provide, personalize, improve, secure, and develop Claire. We may also use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information for analytics, research, product development, and future AI improvement.

4. AI, Product Improvement, and Future Training Use

Claire uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized skincare guidance. To operate these features, we may process your prompts, profile information, product information, routines, photos, and other relevant context through AI systems and service providers.

When you choose to use image analysis, Claire may upload the image, create a temporary signed image URL or image data payload, and send the image together with relevant profile or prompt context to third-party AI providers or AI infrastructure providers so Claire can generate skincare-related observations. Claire does not use image analysis to diagnose medical conditions.

We may use data to improve Claire, including improving prompts, safety systems, product recommendations, routine logic, personalization, analytics, and AI-powered features.

We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data for analytics, research, product development, and AI improvement.

In the future, Claire may use user data, including skincare profile information, prompts, messages, images, feedback, routines, progress information, and interaction data, to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve Claire-owned or Claire-operated AI models, where permitted by law. If legally required, we will provide notice, consent, or opt-out choices before using certain personal or sensitive data for AI training.

We do not intend to use personal information to train third-party foundation models in a way that allows those providers to identify you, unless we disclose that practice or obtain consent where required.

Because AI and privacy laws are evolving, we may update this Privacy Policy as our AI data practices change.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify information where required by law, subject to exceptions such as legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, backup retention, payment records, and legitimate business needs. Account deletion is designed to remove user-owned app records and user-owned uploaded photo objects from Claire storage, including skin scan, progress, and concern photos stored under your user-specific storage path.

California law also gives residents rights related to sensitive personal information, including the right to limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information. California’s privacy guidance identifies sensitive personal information as including categories such as precise geolocation and certain health-related information.

Claire does not sell your personal information for money. If our practices change in a way that constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable privacy law, we will provide required notices and choices.

To exercise applicable rights, contact us at support@claire-skincare.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
